A small annual support fee for each of its off the shelf software products. The maintenance fee is $250 for each software product purchased. This fee is used to pay for the cost of media, documentation, shipping, and processing of the software. Customers who own more than one product are entitled to a discount of %15 to %50 based on the number of products owned.
The maintenance and support fee covers the following areas:
- Telephone support to answer any questions specific to the software product purchased.
- Annual user requested enhancement release that is mailed to the user at least once annually. The user requested enhancement release includes any improvements made to the software products over the last year. These may be functional enhancements requested by other customers, or strategic enhancements designed by us that can be leveraged by all customers owning the software product.
- Support for future releases of the HP product. For those customers who will be upgrading to a new release, we will provide them with a new copy of the software product that is guaranteed compatible.
- Resolution of any software bugs and distribution of bug fixes.
