The Purchase Order MRP Update is a utility program that allows you to automatically update your purchasing data base with information from your last MRP or MPS run. In addition, reports or files are generated which you can forward to your vendors. - Automatic Blanket Purchase Order Release - The utility allows the user to create a new release on a blanket purchase order for a part's new requirements. Several customers set up blanket orders for simple parts and the the utility perform the releases for them.
- Automatic Creation of New Purchase Orders - The utility is capable of creating new inventory purchase orders for new requirements.
- Update Simulation Option - allows you to test what would happen without updating your data base. This allows you to try different update selection options to suit your purchasing environment.
- Automatic Rescheduling - options are available to make date changes to your purchase order line items based on MRP need date.
- Vendor Action Reports - A summary report will generate one line of what has been (or will be) updated. A detail report by vendor will list current open purchase order lines, new delivery dates, and any new releases.
